Star-Lord is a Marvel character, most famously known as the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

His real name is Peter Quill, a human abducted from Earth as a child after his mother's death. He was raised by the Ravagers, a group of intergalactic mercenaries.

Star-Lord is portrayed by actor Chris Pratt in the MCU movies. His first appearance was in the 2014 movie *Guardians of the Galaxy*.
